Hello residents,

With so many new people in the development and new ways of communication available, people may not be aware of all the ways you can get information or connect with the right team. Below we have put a quick primer together for everyone.

Run by our management team

• FirstService Residential connect is our official resident portal run by FSR, our management company. It contains your account information and many other resources like being able to view and pay any HOA fees online, download documents from a comprehensive document library, browse the knowledge base, review work orders, and more.

• Residential connect mobile app - same as website, just in app form (iOS, Google Play)

• management@independence-harbor.com is the email address to reach management for any of your needs

• 201-945-7888 is the management office phone #

• Playtomic is the mobile app needed for reserving tennis courts and lessons (IOS, Google Play). If you want more info on this, check out our other blog post

Run by our board

• Independence-harbor.com is our public website that provides “digital curb appeal” and information to prospective residents on our community. However, it also has a resident-only section with information and resources (including this blog), answers to common questions with a link to the fuller knowledge base, our board meeting calendar and open session replays, and much more. To get access to it, our board confirms that anyone requesting access is listed in the FSR resident portal.

• IHBoard@independence-harbor.com is the email address to reach our team

• “IH Residents Life” is an email newsletter that we send out occasionally - the sign-up occurs when you register for our website (so if you can read this, it means you registered :). It surfaces up the blog posts like this one in your inbox.

• Open meetings run by the board are tentatively scheduled every 2 months and are conducted today via Zoom. Our management team will send out emails confirming the meetings with the link.

As always, we welcome any suggestions for new content that we are missing. There is a digital suggestion box at the bottom of our Residents Guide main page - please feel free to put your suggestions in!
