Independence Harbor residents enjoy a suite of amenities to make their stay more enjoyable.
The Clubhouse
At the heart of the community is our resident-only clubhouse. It contains a spacious great room with beautiful vaulted ceilings. Residents can enjoy comfy seating, free wi-fi, watch programming on a Smart TV and take respite from the outdoors for anything they need.
The clubhouse can also be booked for parties up to 50 people which includes a kitchen, bathrooms and convenient parking.
Outdoor pool & jacuzzi
Our family-friendly pool area is always attended by red-cross certified life guards.
It features a main heated pool with tons of comfy lounge chairs, a few semi-private cabanas with tables and chairs and wi-fi throughout.
Within the main pool is also a jacuzzi and a ping pong table with paddles and balls.
For “brand new” residents, we even have a separate kiddie pool, with 1-foot deep water and a non-slip bottom.
Grill and Patio area
Underneath a pretty tree covered area, nestled in between the pool and the tennis courts is our outdoor grilling area.
It contains 6 charcoal grills with cleaners, scoops, ash cans and garbage cans for easy disposal.
The large seating area contains tables, chairs and benches underneath tree cover making for a great summer BBQ for groups of all sizes.
Exercise Room
Located inside our clubhouse is our newly renovated exercise room with a variety of equipment (new pictures coming soon)
Tennis & Pickleball Courts
Independence Harbor is definitely “pro-racket”.
The property boasts 2 private tennis courts and 2 pickleball courts, available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Booking court time is done through a mobile app and play time extends into the night as courts are lit for extended play.
Whether you know what you are doing or need to brush up on your strokes, we also have professional instructors on site, available to book through our app. Our partnership with notable instructor group, Prime Tennis, provides residents with discounted rates for either private lessons or group clinics.
Basketball
Another way residents can stay fit is through our half-court basketball area. Available first-come, first-serve.

For 2-legged kids
Our playground features both a jungle gym, 3 slides supporting baby and regular sized kids (not pictured), and soft landings everywhere. It also includes a small seating area for parents.
For 4-legged kids
To ensure our furry friends stay in great shape, we have two dog runs. A large dog run for the big kids and a small dog run for pups under 20 lbs.
Residents are allowed to have up to 2 dogs of any size (or if they prefer indoor friends, up to 2 cats).

24-hour Security Gatehouse
Our community enjoys round-the-clock security. Using an RFID system, residents are provided automated entry while visitors are required to check in with the gatehouse.
Storage room
Whether you need to store furniture, winter clothes or rotate your holiday decorations, our on-site storage lockers provide plenty of additional space for our residents.
Both our large and small storage lockers are steel cages, resting on concrete for maximum fire resistance. Only the on-site security personnel can grant access to them.
Bicycle Room
With our ideal locale on the river, many residents have taken to biking. We provide free bike storage to residents to help free up precious living space.
Similar to our storage room, only our on-site security personnel can provide access to ensure bikes stay secure.
EV Charging Stations
For the environmentally-minded, we have 2 charging stations (each with two chargers, pictured) on our garage level.
Promenade Access
Our property has direct access to the public promenade that stretches from northern edgewater all the way down to Weehawkin. Great for walking, biking, or taking in the breathtaking views year-round.
On-site property management office
Our property management company, First Service Residential, has an on-site office inside the clubhouse to support our homeowners.
