Our First Service Residential management team is located on-site in our clubhouse and is available to unit owners to discuss any of their needs.

Please make maintenance requests through your owner except in emergency situations.

Our management team
Robert Read, Community Manager
Robert brings over 20 years of combined experience in construction, capital project management, financial and building/space management.
Most recently, Robert worked in the Capital Project/Facilities division of Columbia University in NYC where he managed and facilitated residential units for teaching staff both on the Morningside and Manhattanville Campuses. Prior to that, he worked for several years at Weill Cornell in NY as the finance lead for a variety of capital management projects.
Edward Schmale, Assistant Community Manager
Edward is responsible for the daily operations at Independence Harbor. His primary focus is delivering exceptional service and solutions to all residents.
Over the past ten years with FirstService Residential, Edward has experience managing several condominium associations along the Gold Coast.
He currently lives in Hoboken and enjoys electronics, sports and traveling.
Alyssa Perez, Administrative Assistant
Our newest addition and recent Montclair State University graduate, Alyssa graduated with a bachelor's degree in business administration with a concentration in marketing.
Her primary responsibility will be to provide daily operational support to our managers, ensuring that our community runs smoothly and that our residents receive great service.
Her commitment to excellence and great communication skills will be noticed by our staff and our community immediately. Please welcome her to the team.
