Volunteers needed: IH board election committee

Hello Residents!

Every May, we hold our annual election for the IH Board of Directors - which is right around the corner. And while we have had some amazing support from a couple of residents over the years to ensure we get enough votes, we want to make sure that it’s easier to rally turnout and not place the burden on two people.

We are looking to form an official election committee to help assist with the process and get greater participation from the community. The committee will handle several items related to the election including, but not limited to…

• Communications about the election - key dates and activities

• Helping solicit volunteers interested in becoming a board member

• Coordinate and promote a “meet the candidates” event

• Handle specific tasks for the election like gathering and counting ballots
